Terms & Conditions

By visiting or using this site, you agree to these terms and conditions. If you do not accept them, do not use the site or its linked services.

This privately owned site is not affiliated with a government body, sheriff, jail, or corrections department. Neither the site nor its advertising partners offers credit, employment, insurance, tenant-screening, or another FCRA-covered service. The site is a Gentry County and Missouri records reference, not a private investigation firm or consumer reporting agency.

Nature of the Site

Gentry County Released Inmates is a private reference resource with no government authority. It stores no official inmate, jail, release, or court records and cannot confirm custody, release a person, post bond, or file a public-record request.

The pages point visitors toward county, court, Missouri corrections, supervision, notification, and federal sources. Some searches are supplied by outside research providers.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use the site lawfully and without harming other people or the service. You must not:

  • violate a law while using the pages or links;
  • stalk, threaten, or harass another person;
  • make hiring, housing, lending, or insurance decisions from site content;
  • attempt access to systems or data without permission;
  • run bots, scrapers, or automated extraction tools;
  • disrupt access for other visitors.

No Consumer Reports

This site is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. It does not prepare background checks, credit reports, or consumer reports, and neither it nor its advertising partners offers a screening service. You agree not to use information for:

  • hiring, discipline, or termination decisions;
  • tenant or other housing screening;
  • creditworthiness or insurance pricing;
  • licensing, permits, or government-program eligibility;
  • any other purpose governed by the FCRA.

Links may lead to release records, sheriff and corrections pages, government portals, legal resources, and outside search services. We do not control their content, uptime, terms, or data practices. A link is not an endorsement. Review the destination's rules before use.

Service Provided As Is

The site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available.” We make no warranty that information is accurate, complete, current, uninterrupted, free of errors or security defects, or that a partner search will be comprehensive.

Custody status and public records can change at any time. Nothing on these pages is an official statement by the Gentry County sheriff, a court, MODOC, or another government agency.

Limits of Liability

To the fullest extent Missouri law permits, the site, its owners, and contributors are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or other damages arising from use of, inability to use, or reliance on the site or a linked service.

Your Duty to Indemnify

You agree to defend and hold the site, its owners, and contributors harmless from claims, losses, liabilities, and reasonable legal fees caused by your use of the service or violation of these terms.

Ownership of Content

Unless otherwise stated, the site's original text, graphics, logos, and code belong to Gentry County Released Inmates or its content partners. You may not copy, distribute, modify, or republish protected material without written permission.

Changes to Terms

We may revise these terms at any time. A new version takes effect when posted on this page. Continued use after posting means you accept the revised terms.

Access Restrictions

We may suspend, limit, or end access to the site at any time, for any reason, and without advance notice.

Missouri Law Applies

Missouri law governs these terms without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute must be filed in a court with proper jurisdiction in Missouri.

Severability

If a court finds one provision invalid or unenforceable, the remaining terms continue in effect. The affected provision will be adjusted only as much as needed to make it enforceable.
